We are a small, home-based retail nursery located in the Foothills, half way between Sacramento to the West and Lake Tahoe to the East .  We specialize in ornamental grasses, offering over 170 varieties from all over the world, including many North American and California natives.  We also offer a variety of perennials and shrubs.  Extensive demonstration gardens afford our customers an opportunity to see our plants in a setting where summers are hot and dry and the deer are plentiful.  Visitors are welcome to our nursery and gardens.  Group tours should book in advance.
